Cookie Notice
Version 0.1 (draft) · Effective 22 October 2026
This notice explains what maisoncalibre.watch stores in your browser and what you can choose. See also our Privacy Policy.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a small banner asks you to choose Accept or Essential only. Both buttons look the same and either one closes the banner. We show it to every visitor, wherever you are.
- Essential only: we set only the cookies and storage the site needs (listed below), and a referral link is remembered for this visit only.
- Accept: we may also keep a referral link for 30 days and, if we add them later, load optional analytics tools (see below).
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page. We remember your choice in a cookie for 6 months and then ask again.
What the site stores
Essential (always on, no consent needed)
- Your cookie choice (`mc_cookie_consent`). A first-party cookie that records whether you chose Accept or Essential only. It lasts 6 months. Without it we could not remember your answer.
- Sign-in session. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) stores a session token in your browser's storage so that you stay signed in. It is strictly necessary for the sign-in you asked for.
- Anonymous survey statistics on /early. To count visits and survey answers on our pre-launch page, the page keeps a random identifier in your browser's session storage (gone when you close the tab) and sends it with each tap and answer. It is not tied to your name or email and is not used to follow you to other sites. If you press Accept, the identifier is kept in local storage instead, so repeat visits are not counted twice. Your Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal turns this off.
- Preferences and remembered state. A small amount of local storage remembers choices you make, such as that you have accepted updated terms. It stays in your browser and is not used to track you.
Only with your consent
- Referral link (`mc_ref`). If you arrive through an Ambassador's link (maisoncalibre.watch/r/ and a code), we set a small first-party cookie that holds only that code, so the referral can be credited if you sign up or buy. If you chose Accept, it lasts 30 days. If you have not chosen yet, or chose Essential only, it is a session cookie: it is deleted when you close your browser, and it only lasts for the current visit. If you press Accept later in the same visit, it then lasts 30 days. It is not used to track you across sites.
- Analytics. We run no analytics script and no third-party analytics. See the next section.
Analytics
We do not currently run analytics. If we add an analytics tool, it will load only after you chose Accept (our site is built so that no analytics script can start before that), and we will update this notice and the Privacy Policy first. We will choose a privacy-friendly tool where we can.
What the site does not use
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
Do Not Track
Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because it does not track you across other sites.
Managing storage
You can change your choice with Cookie settings in the footer. You can also clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. If you do, you will be signed out, some preferences will be forgotten and the banner will appear again.

[ATTORNEY: confirm the banner wording, the 6-month period, and whether a session-only referral cookie before consent is acceptable in each EU member state and the UK, or whether the referral code should instead travel only in the URL (?ref=) until you accept.]
