Acceptable Use Policy
Version 0.1 (draft) · Effective 22 October 2026
This policy applies to everyone who uses maisoncalibre.watch and Maison Calibre faces, and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Licences and faces
You must not:
- resell, rent, lend, give away or otherwise share a licence, activation code, activation link, VIP code, coupon or Maison Key, or use them on watches not linked to your account;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with licence checks, trials or activation, or use tools or modified copies to do so;
- copy, extract, redistribute, decompile or reverse engineer our faces, artwork or licence service, except where mandatory law permits it;
- upload or distribute pirated or unlocked copies of our faces; or
- exceed the limit of two linked watches per account by any means.
2. Infringing and unlawful content
You must not submit, upload or publish content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, or that is unlawful, hateful, harassing or deceptive.
3. The Service
You must not attack, overload, probe or scrape the Service, use automated tools to guess codes, bypass rate limits, or try to access other people's accounts or data.
4. Customisation, engraving and uploads (future)
When we offer customisation features such as engraving text or uploading images or logos for a face:
- you may only use text, images and other content that you own or have the right to use;
- you may not use third-party trademarks, logos, brand names, celebrity likenesses or other protected content without the owner's permission, including the marks of watch brands;
- you give us a licence to use, store, process and display your content as needed to provide the feature to you;
- you are responsible for your content; and
- we may refuse, remove or disable any content, at our discretion, including for legal or brand reasons, without liability, and without refund where the content breached this policy.
[ATTORNEY: confirm refund treatment and the content licence wording once the feature is specified.]
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches and may warn you, remove content, revoke licences, suspend or close accounts, and report unlawful activity. Where we revoke a licence for serious breach, no refund is due. Report breaches to info@bsvsoft.com. To report infringement of intellectual property, see our DMCA and IP notice.
